this is not a video of me beatboxin’ even though i can. it’s actually this sound design project i had to do for my editing class and yea. i don’t remember whether or not i was high while working on this. i actually doubt i was high. i’m just really really weird. but she said we could do whatever we want and yea that’s what i did. don’t laugh haha i’m sensitive.
words cannot begin to describe how excited i am to add this to my collection. i know exactly how i’ll spend my tuesday night. do yourselves a favor and buy this.
i also wanna get “doubt” cause i haven’t seen that yet and i like meryl.
i also haven’t seen ‘no country for old men’..i’m a pathetic excuse for a film student. i have so many lists of things i gotta see.
but i got one you may not have seen. i probably already posted about this but i’ll do it again cause i absolutely love it!
son of rambow is the coolest ever. i wanna make something cute with kids in it! next mission def.
also, i’ll love anyone who can find me this! if you see it, grab it and mail it to me – i swear i’ll pay you back lol. it’s called the battle of shaker heights. shia labeouf’s in it and i know not alot of people like him but i think he’s alright. i used to watch even steven’s all the time and that kinda got me hooked on him. not in a psycho obsessed way though.
cinefest09 is upon us and there are atleast 10 films i’m gonna try to catch this week – this week’s gonna be real filmy, that sounds delicious.
uh, lastly i found this neat little collection of spanish films called ‘nuestro cine’ and it’s cool they have all these double features. i definitely wanna take a spanish cinema class as i’ll probably live there for a few years. wow, i think i just found my excuse to not graduate yet – double major? i think so!

this film was effin’ brilliant! and i never use the word “brilliant”…yea. it was a good watch, worth every penny, hope i make something this good someday blah blah blah. it was just awesome. i’d watch it a million times.
i usually forget about my hyper obsession with harry potter until a new book or film is released. well, seeing as how all the books are done i have nothing left to do but wait for the final two films. it was bittersweet for me reading the final book. a part of my childhood ended. but at the same time, i saw people all around me finishing the book and i wanted to finish and experience that glorious moment where i knew everyting there was to know. so, ladies and gentlemen, with that said, please enjoy the following trailers for the upcoming installment of the harry potter series:
HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE
i don’t think i need to say how excited i am. anyone who knows me understands…i actually already have a date to go see this with cristal cause seeing these in IMAX is kinda our thing. july 17th..oh yea.

is the most beautiful day. the weather is awesome and everything falls into place. ok, enough of that. um, yea go cop that dark knight and common’s universal mind control!
yea, if you didn’t see it when it was in theatres buy the dvd tomorrow. actually, go buy a huge 1080p, a blu-ray player and the blu-ray copy of the movie cause it’s so worth it. best buy currently has so many copies of this, it’s not even funny. they’re getting 3 huge displays, one of which has already been claimed by yours truly. this was hands down the best movie i saw this year. i just hope one day i can make something half as cool as this.
ok. i saw step up 2: the streets a while back. i don’t remember how i watched it (would never pay for it) or why (pretty pointless movie) BUT, if you happened to have come across it you’ll remember a character by the name of moose. or not? anyways…he’s played by adam sevani, one of the sickest dancers i’ve ever seen. so, my co-worker greg and i randomly share youtube “must sees” with each other and he told me about this one today. so i’m chillin’ in my room, recovering from “black friday” – the present day legal form of slavery – i youtubed the kid and saw his remake of michael jackson’s thriller that he did for his 25th anniversary. um, it’s fucking awesome. watch it.
It’s literally been months…or maybe a month. I’m sorry, I suck at blogging but I have ALOT to say about the world around me…pretty ironic. Anyways, It’s been pretty hectic (atleast for me) with school starting, work, filming, partying, and going to amazing shows – so I’m gonna take a breather for a sec and update the world.
So…
My last post was right before my vacation to Mexico – which was pretty amazing.
I climbed some lighthouse in Cozumel when I went ATV-ing & snorkeling…good shit.
Let’s see, I started school…gotta love Temple. I’m taking a filmmaking class, 2 advanced spanish courses, mosaics I (please don’t ask), and basic acting 2. Pretty interesting courses and I don’t forsee myself failing any of them so that’s always a good thing.
I also got a car.
R.I.P. VDubs…Enter VDubs: The Sequel
What else…Oh!. I came across a pretty awesome kid on YouTube. His name is Felix Zenger and he beatboxes like shit! He’s opened for Kanye and is currently a member of the Iiro Rantala New Trio, where he performs alongside Rantala (piano) and Marzi Nyman (guitar). Kid’s pretty tight..enjoy.
I guess the last thing I’ll leave you with for today is my first ever, fully written, shot & directed piece called “parking”. It was my corny attempt at a horror movie with asynchronous sound. It’s pretty funny. Big ups to mah boo Whitney for being a part of it & helping out. I love you like you have no idea kid.
